Dr. Paula Derleth CACCP is passionate about helping families in the Rochester area lead healthy, empowered, active lives. She uses her educated mind, gentle touch, and natural compassion to guide her patients along a path of healing and thriving.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nazareth College (although attended the College of Charleston in SC for most of her education), and obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Paula took a rigorous, 200 hour curriculum to certify in pregnancy and pediatrics.
Dr Paula has been trained in and employs an array of chiropractic techniques, including instrument-specific, specialized tables, and diverse manual methods, and has a Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) . Her approach is tailored to the specific needs and developmental stages of individual patients. She is very passionate about the care of pregnant woman and children, which was why she certified to be able to offer optimal care to this patient population.
Her true passion lies in the care of children, from to womb onward. She has taken extensive courses and certifications in the realm of Chiropractic Pediatrics and is certified in Webster Technique, which is specific care tailored for the pregnant pelvis. She continues to enhance her repertoire with specialized programs that combine clinical nutrition, movement-based exercise, and chiropractic care to help children fulfill their utmost potential.
When not working or continuing her studies, Dr. Paula enjoys spending time with her five beautiful boys doing outdoor activities, camping and doing anything with her family. She is an avid crossfitter and enjoys yoga.
