Hello, and welcome to Derleth Chiropractic. My name is Dr. Paula Derleth and my husband Phil and I are the founders and owners of what I consider to be the best place for holistic health and chiropractic care. As I am a native of Rochester New York, I grew up in Penfield and studied at Nazareth College. I received my BS in biology, and while studying, became interested in chiropractic care and wellness. I furthered my studies at New York Chiropractic College where I graduated with honors and received my Doctorate in Chiropractic.
The goal of my office is to provide you with a spectrum of
knowledge into your problem, and to incorporate chiropractic,
health and wellness into the solution. This is an advanced center
for chiropractic care. You can receive information on nutrition as well
as insight into general health and well being. I will provide you with a
service which incorporates chiropractic and medicine, in order to
achieve your goals. We will include your primary care physician to
foster patient satisfaction and confidence that your ultimate goal is
effectively and safely achieved.
My passion is patient care for all ages and I strive to provide an
advanced center for health and wellness with the most current and
up to date practices in chiropractic care and wellness. I am
currently enrolled in a post doctoral certification in pregnancy and
pediatrics (CACCP). This passion has lead to only positive results
in treating children with common alignment such as side effects from
ear infections to developmental delays and toritcollis. I am certified in
the Webster Breech Technique and have utilized it with success, which operates using the concept that pelvic and sacral misalignment causes torsion on the pelvic musculature that prevents the baby from assuming the best position prior to birth. This is a non-invasive technique that helps to realign the spine and pelvis, taking pressure off the musculature and nerves. I have also treated other pregnancy related spinal, nerve and muscular issues.
In addition, I am certified in active release technique. This system was developed and designed to analyze and treat muscular and soft tissue components of injuries. This technique has been helpful in treating many issues including; tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis), knee problems, foot pain or plantar fascitis, carpel tunnel, low back pain, neck pain, tension headaches and much more.
We will collaborate to achieve optimal health, body functioning, and an overall sense of wellbeing. Together we will work as a team to meet goals according to injury and illness. I am confident in the fact that I can develop an individual treatment plan to satisfy your needs. It is my personal mission to get patients better quickly and safely, while teaching you how to maintain a pain free state of being, and discover practices of health and wellness.
